I’m planning on moving permanently to Tokyo to live with my Japanese wife. Currently I’m working remotely for a Dutch company and I get paid in The Netherlands (I’m a Dutch citizen). Do I have to pay tax in The Netherlands and in Japan and do I only pay tax on the money I spent in Japan?
Any advice would be helpful, I can’t seem to find any tax accountant that has knowledge about the tax treaty between The Netherlands and Japan.
