I am a filipino citizen who plans to apply Standard Visitor (UK) visa here in Japan.
I am sooo confused about what i am seeing online.
It seems like I need to apply using VFS global. And then I need to create an account in VFS global but i can only see their login page for those who already have reference number and password, there is a link below for new user, go to [gov.uk](https://gov.uk) website.
And then in [gov.uk](https://gov.uk) website, there is no link to register as a user. I can only see “check if you need a visa” questionnaire and then after completing that, theres no link to actually proceed. It keeps on going back [to this page](https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor).

So i am really confused what I am supposed to do?
fill up the pdf, print and go directly to embassy? or to VFS global in Minato-ku?

saying they just send documents in Manila.
So should I just apply in Manila?
What did you guys do? Please enlighten me…

Apply for the visa here: https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor/apply-standard-visitor-visa which, after some explanation, goes to https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/apply-visa-type/visit at which point you’d be asked where you want to provide your biometrics, and given an introduction to VFS global.
Then proceed with the application, and check the rest of the steps on Japan/UK specific vfsglobal site: https://visa.vfsglobal.com/jpn/en/gbr/apply-visa
