Asking for advices

Hi everyone! I want to ask you something about my situation, to understand if I’m doing something wrong. I’m 26 years old Italian man and I’m trying to work in Japan as a teacher. I have a bachelor’s degree in Japanese and English (Language and Literature) a TEFL and TESOL qualification and I have a bit of experience in thanks to my online teaching. Presentations apart my question is this: Am I doing something wrong? Let me explain. I have applied in many japanese sites to work as an english teacher (Yeah even Gaba Aeon and Nova) but after a week I’m a bit surprised about the results. Gaba and Aeon told me there were too much people and they could not offer me an interview. Nova sent me an e-mail saying that they were was interested in me, but after 7 days from that (within they had to arrange an interview with me if everything was fine) I didn’t receive anything. The other school haven’t contact me and even if I’m still sending my application (My cover letter is in english and I’m always sending my Rireikisho also to prove my language skills) my fear is that I’m doing something wrong. Do you have any advice? Thanks in advance!
