So many jobs ads I look at will say a decent yearly salary of say ¥5m. But then later in the ad say a tiny monthly salary of ¥200k.
Do companies actually pay THAT much in bonuses?
I currently make ¥4.1m a year with NO bonus so I have my monthly expenses budgeted out for that. I would LOVE to make over ¥5m but I can’t see how anyone with a family to support could pay the bills at anything less than ¥300k a month. I couldn’t pay my bills at ¥300k a month.
Is there a trick to finding out the true salary? Instead of wasting time on an interview?
I went to an interview recently that claimed ¥300k to ¥500k starting. I figured since I’m close to 40 and am not a new grad, I could start somewhere in the middle. Only for them to say the actual salary is ¥250k. I said thank you but no thank you and walked out of there.
