こんにちは! I’m backpacking to Okinawa at the end of this month and looking to surf, camp and hike 🙂
Wondering about friendly surf spots, (I’m used to 3ft-6ft waves) and what the accessibility to surf spots without a car are like / rentals / if there are hostels or campsites near the surf beaches etc.
Any campsites / hostels / lower priced accommodation recommendations would be gratefully accepted! And if pitching up a tent on the beach is legal/an okay thing to do. And if hitchhiking is easy/safe/ or common. (I’m half Japanese and can sorta get by but can’t hold much of a conversation)
Been reading that Okinawa is generally expensive and inaccessible without a car but looking forward to coming up with some alternatives so I’m able to see as much of the beauty there as I can:)
