Hello everyone, I’ll be visiting Japan for the first time in mid May till June for about 3 weeks with 2 other friends. We’ll be going to Tokyo, Kamakura, Yamanashi, Fuji, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. I’ve come up with this itinerary but wanted to get some opinions on it and see if it’s doable. This is still a work in progress and I’ve left some days to be free so I can hangout with friends and explore the cities. Any advices/recommendations are welcome!
**Day 1 (Arrival in Tokyo):**
Evening arrival in Tokyo
Check into the hotel
Visit the Tokyo Tower for panoramic views of the city
**Day 2 (Tokyo):**
10:00 AM – Explore the Asakusa area and Sensoji Temple
11:00 AM – Eat at Komugi No Dorei
12:00 PM – Have lunch in the nearby area
2:00 PM – Visit the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (\~$5)
4:00 PM – Go to Shibuya Sky (\~$18 per person)
7:00 PM – Dinner in the nearby area
**Day 3 (Tokyo – Yokohama):**
9:00 AM – Have meal in the nearby Harajuku area
11:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Explore the Omotesando area
3:00 PM – Imperial Castle
5:00 PM – Train to Yokohama
6:00 PM – Check in hotel
7:00 PM – Dinner in the nearby area
**Day 4 (Yokohama – Kamakura):**
7:00 AM – Visit Gundam Statue
9:00 AM – Take a train to Kamakura
10:30 AM – Visit the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine
12:00 PM – Have lunch in the nearby area
12:30 PM – Could eat lunch at Shichirigahama Beach
2:00 PM – Visit the Great Buddha at Kotokuin Temple
\~6:00 PM – Visit the Kamakurakoko Mae Station for sunset views (has beach right next to it)

**Day 5 (Kamakura – Yamanashi):**
6:00AM/Whenever Bus leaves: Go to Yamanashi
9:00AM: Get food at Lawson (6708-1 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0301, Japan)
12:00AM: Go to Arakura Shrine
