Has anyone been to the new Club Med Kiroro Peak or the even newer Club Med Kiroro Grand?
I would think a shared airport shuttle bus would be reasonably priced. But for 2 adults and 2 young children, it costs a whopping USD510 (round trip)! I looked at private airport transfers to Kiroro, and it’s about $200-250 each way — we’re talking about our own car + driver picking us up at our preferred time (vs Club Med’s fixed bus schedule).
Am I missing something? I get that they need to make money, and they pretty much own the area with their two properties, but USD125/person? They’re earning USD6K+ if the bus seats 50.
Does anyone have a car service they recommend? With kids and bags, it’s not practical to take the train to Otaru then taxi/bus to Kiroro (cheaper options).
