Working as a “Freelance” on a student visa

In about 2 weeks I’m moving to Japan on a student visa for 2 years but I have a question regarding my income. I work as a “Freelancer” for a couple of Youtubers, I use quotation marks because I do videos and thumbnails fairly regularly, sometimes daily or every other day so I’m like a regular employee on a Freelancer status. They don’t take me much time, like less than 4 hours per video + thumbnail, so I’ll be within the 28-hour weeks that the visa allows me to work if I do a vid every day which I usually don’t. But my question is that I read that if I earn “too much” I can have issues with my visa status. The content creators I work with are fairly big so I’m some months getting paid like 500k yen a month, don’t know if that’s a lot of money in japan but I live in Mexico so it’s a great salary in here, specially since it’s almost like a part time job since I’m still working around the 28 hours per week max, but it’s kinda irregular since I get paid some bonuses depending on how well the channel is performing. My question is how should I approach this? Like I don’t wanna ask to get paid less for the same work I usually do, and I prefer to report that I’m working while on my visa to avoid any troble, but I don’t want to have issues with inmigration down the line because I “earn too much”. Tbh my job was the deciding factor on me getting my visa, since I should be able to work and study at the same time no problem, with enough time to just getting to know the country.
