My husband and I are planning to buy a place soon, but we’re not entirely sure whether we want to live in a house or a condo. My husband is leaning house and I might be leaning condo. We went to see a used townhouse and it seems to have the best of both worlds but also the worst of both. Namely, it’s in a convenient central location with the layout of a house (3 floors plus rooftop balcony) with the monthly fees of a condo (about 30,000 yen per month).
Does anyone live in a townhouse? How is it?
