I’m going to be living in Japan as an international student starting April 1st so I’m not able to get a JR pass, and I’m wondering if it will be better to buy tickets in advance or at the stations? I have a few connections I need to make in time to get where I need to go, so I thought buying them all in advance would help reduce stress while navigating the stations, but I’m wondering if there are any disadvantages to purchasing them in advance from anyones experience? Any tips on travelling and transport connections is greatly appreciated! I’m trying to get from Narita Airport to Aomori.
