SoftBank is making me pay 70,000yen for my SoftBank Air Device as a penalty for cancelling early 85,000 in total with all fees. I am leaving Japan and wondering what how it’ll affect me in the future if I don’t pay the Air Terminal fee. I called them and said I want to return it, but they said you have to pay for it. 70,000 for a wifi router is a bit extreme and I think completely baseless. What will happen if I don’t pay it ?
