I will travel to Japan in May for 18 days for the first time. I have some questions:
\- What would be the best transportation card for me to get? (I will spend 8 days in Tokyo)
\- How much should I top up the card for 8 days in Tokyo? I am planning to walk as much as I can but I want to use transportation to move from one area to another.
\- Is the card that I will get for Tokyo valid in other cities?
\- I would like to visit Tokyo, Mt fuji&Hakone (day trip) Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kobe (day trip), Nara (day trip). Is this a good itinerary for a first time trip to Japan? Is there anything else I should visit? Is 18 days enough to see the places I mentioned?
\- I would like to get a tour (not private) for mt fuji and hakone, any tour company you can recommend?
\- How is the weather in May? (especially if you’ve been to Japan in the recent years)
\- Does google maps work well in Japan? Is there any maps app that works better (english friendly)? Any other app you recommend me buying?
\- Any restaurant you would recommend? (especially for breakfast)
\- Any shopping areas (clothes, skin care, gadgets) with interesting prices? Anything worth buying in Japan especially?
\- I would like to get a sim card with internet, where should i get it? which sim card company is the best?
\- Is it cheaper to fly from one city to another or is taking the train better? For the itinerary that I presented, is it worth it to get the train pass?
\- Any other tips you would like to share?
