Hello! I am planning a trip to Okinawa from the US in the coming months and one of my daughter’s absolute favorite foods is Tonkatsu. I’m sure there are a ton of great restaurants that do a good Tonkatsu, but is there one that stands above the rest?
I grew up on Okinawa decades ago and in addition to Tonkatsu, I also loved Japanese croquettes. I think if I could find some good ones, I would be in nostalgia-heaven. Any recommendations for those?

Tonkatsu Taro restaurant on Hwy 58 in Chatan across the street from Camp Lester is good.
