Hello, my fiancé and I are visiting Japan for 3 weeks in May/June as part of our honeymoon. We want to spend 5 days in Okinawa and are planning on renting a car. We’re both sort of nervous, as we both live in the US, and have only driven here and in Canada. We’ve never driven on the left side. I know we need international drivers licenses before going.
Is driving in Okinawa crazy difficult? Or is it something that is manageable? Any tips and personal experiences are greatly appreciated!
