Hello,
me and my friend are staying a whole week in Ise, Mie. We are interested in culture, tea & cafés, nature (but not hardcore hiking) and maybe also a chill bar. Does anyone have recommendations or extra info about where to eat / drink, very chill hikes in the area or places to visit I might have missed? Also wondering if some of our planned destinations are worth it, feel free to chip in. 🙂
* Ise-jingu – very obviously we’re going, any tips where to eat / drink tea while near there? Or something we should consider? How about near the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks)?
* Ise-shima National Park hikes, I found this website but has anyone done any of these beginner-friendly hikes or something similar? [https://iseshimahiking.toba.or.jp/english/#hikes-list](https://iseshimahiking.toba.or.jp/english/#hikes-list)
* Also planning to visit Toba and pearl island Mikimoto, and would be nice to visit an Ama diver hut (Amagoya). Any information about these?
* Also planning to visit Matsusaka: Any tips there (not that interested in the beef)?
* Also considering Yokkaichi for the ceramics (my small teapot is from there and would love to buy a matching cup) or prefecture capital Tsu for general visit – anyone been to these? Are they worth a visit?
* We’re going to also visit Nabari & Akame48 waterfalls – second time for me (my sister’s host family lives nearby) that is a recommendation from me to anyone who is interested in beautiful nature spots :—)
Many thanks for any info in advance!
