Wallet fell out of my unzipped backpack while walking home after work. Yes, I am stupid. Yes, I retraced my steps. Yes, I made a report at the koban.
My online searching suggests I need a special form to take to immigration to get a new zairyu card. Cops say no such form exists. If you happen to know what it’s called in Japanese (if it has a special name), mind sharing? I called it a “lost property form to submit to immigration” — but no dice.
It’s been almost 24 hours and I have given up it being turned in. Someone who had it and wanted to return it would have done so by now. The wallet is expensive, but honestly I just want my zairyu card and drivers license back. They can keep everything else. Just give me my IDs 🙁
