Novels about everyday life in modern day Tokyo

I’ve read a lot of english translated books by Japanese authors…and I’m looking for suggestions of novels (preferably by Japanese authors) that are sort of like a day in the life in modern day Tokyo. Something that provides detailed narration of characters going to every day places like konbinis, izakayas, Life supermarket, Book Offs…and doing everyday things…eating everyday foods. All suggestions welcome….and can be any genre.
