Traveling with Elderly

Hello everyone!

I’ll be bringing my grandma to Fukuoka in 3 weeks time for the Sakura season. She can walk a little, but we’ll bring a wheelchair as backup.

We’ll be doing 2 day trips from Fukuoka. One to Nokonoshima Island, and another, I’m thinking either Kumamoto or Kagoshima.

I’d like to ask:

1. Is Kumamoto or Kagoshima better/more interesting for old folks?
2. Are there any recommended places or attractions that would be interesting to my grandma?
3. Any tips for commuting etc for traveling with an elder around Fukuoka?

Thank you!
