So, I took a 5 year lease on an apartment. Unfortunately things have gone sour with my partner. We have lived here for just over 2 years. I informed them I want to cancel the apartment and they called back to say I have to pay the remaining lease length; 34 months. Is that even legal?
Update # I went in there this morning and offered to pay until they found a new tenant. Luckily they agreed.
