Yoyogi Park rules on playing music is Cherry Blossom Season

Hello,

I’m a DJ here in Japan, and I wanted to do something nice for me and my friends. I wanted to have a picnic in Yoyogi park, with me and my crew. Some of them are also DJs as well. What I wanted to do is have nice Techhouse Vibe and play music in the park with my Control Pad. I wanted this to be like a practice session and not a performance. I believe that some places in Japan would restrict people that does live performances but not musicians that like to practice. Does anyone here know if playing music as a DJ in Yoyogi park is consider allowed?

UPDATE:

It was so great to have immediate response from here. Glad to see that the communitiy here actully took the time to respond with reasonable detials on why it would be a bad Idea. I just want to put it on the record that i’m not some DJ that wants to ruin everyone’s good time. I’m just a kid that likes music, maybe a bit too much. I can now understand that by playing music in a public space, I should be mindful of the perople around me, especially in Japan. I always was mindful about this especially in trains or malls. At first I assumed that it was fine, because I saw many people playing music in Yoyogi and Shibuya. That being said, I don’t think any of you should worry about seeing any DJ’s at Yoyogi Park lol. I guess I really just wanted to ask, because I was curious. Thanks for the replies 🙂
