Hi all,
Flying out to Japan early October for 14 days for the first time.
Don’t have an itinerary built yet, just have quick notes of spots I want to go to.
I will be going to Tokyo and Osaka!
I need another place to visit that’s the complete opposite of those 2 places, preferably non touristy (which i’m sure is a given)
Was thinking about Okinawa but i’m not sure if it would be less worth going given the time we’re going there.
Any recommendations? I really want to experience another mini culture shock.
EDIT: I didn’t include Kyoto as i’ve heard it’s extremely touristy. Given Tokyo and Osaka’s hustle and bustle, I want to go somewhere quieter.
Okinawa was an option for that but given the season, probably not going anymore.
