The same stuff you use in other countries pretty much.
Bumble is the dating app I hate the less and one of the only which led to actually meeting people (without any subscription).
Reddit 🥺
Coffee and Bagel , Pairs would be the best if you’re looking for something serious. Bumble is also a good app but its overrated. A lot of people there are looking for “English lessons”. Tinder is a no go unless you enjoy food pictures. Im a serial dater and I’ve met over 100 people. I would recommend bumble for a start to become accustomed and used to dating here. Bumble is also great if you want to brush up your dating skills
Hinge was good
Any dating apps for ugly people? Asking for myself, couldn’t get a match on bumble to save my life lol.
According to my friends who are still in the game:
– Tinder: pretty much useless – Bumble: a bit better but still sucks
Also biting the bullet and buying the subscription might be a good deal in the end. If you’re going to spend a few thousands yen going to dates anyway, you might as well pay a bit more to get more / better matches for those dates.
Bumble was really good for me, though a common problem was just short conversations which went nowhere. I blame my timing, though. Apparently it was exam season so everyone was busy. I couldn’t possibly have been the problem.
