Going to Japan from May 31 – June 16 and am debating between doing the typical Tokyo > Kyoto > Osaka circuit vs just doing 1 week in Tokyo and 1 week in Okinawa. I’m personally much more of a beach guy than a sightseeing/history guy so l was leaning towards going to Okinawa, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it to go during that timeframe as l’ve heard that June is rainy/typhoon season.
