Will be moving to Japan soon and was advised to bring around 200000 yen for my start up costs (I’m a scholarship holder but there are some procedures for me to settle when I land before I receive my allowance).
I was thinking of keeping some money in physical form and the rest in my Wise card. I would like to ask, how much would you advise me to bring in cash? I’m not sure how cashless Japan is compared to my home country 😅
