Hello, I’ve done a lot of research but can’t seem to find any answers…
I have long frizzy wavy hair and I would like to go to the hairdresser here in Tokyo area / kichijoji but I am completely lost regarding hair treatments. I am used to doing Brazilian straightening, which in fact is a keratin treatment that doesn’t damage hair and makes it easier to straighten and style the hair. I would like to do something similar to that but there is a lot of treatments in Japan, I don’t understand anything anymore.
I found a salon that offers Brazilian straightening except that it’s extremely expensive (40.000 yen) even though it’s basically a treatment that doesn’t cost that much.
Does anyone have a recommendation on hair salon that does treatments that will straighten hair without damaging it and in a non-permanent way? What treatment do you do for your hair?
I really don’t want to do japanese straightening because i am afraid my hair will be damaged. Is there a difference With “japanese perm” or it means the same?
I am sorry for my questions, my japanese is still not that good for me to go ask questions directly to my local salons…
