Planning to visit Japan for the first time with my wife in the last week of October and the first two weeks of November. I haven’t yet made a detailed itinerary, but the main places we want to visit are:
Tokyo (with day trips to Nikko and Mt. Fuji)
Kyoto
Osaka (with day trips to Nara, Kobe, and Himeji)
Either Hiroshima or Takayama (I think we would enjoy Takayama more, but traveling there seems very time-consuming).
Comfort is very important for us; we are no longer at the age to do budget traveling. We want to stay in nice hotels (4 stars) and eat at good restaurants.
Is a budget of 10,000€ realistic for this (excluding flights)?
