Is it possible to stay for 18 months as a New Zealand citizen ? I’ve been trying to research as to why Australian citizens can stay up to 18 months and New Zealand citizens can only stay for 12 apparently has anyone that’s a New Zealand citizen been able to extend their Working holiday visa for 18 months in Japan or is it just not possible? I would also love to know why Australian citizens can stay in Japan on a working holiday visa for longer my partner is an Australian citizen and I’m a New Zealand citizen and we would really like to stay in Japan on our working holiday visas for a full 18 months instead of just 12 months
