Japan employer – Australia residence

Currently living and working in Japan for a Japanese company. They pay my salary into a Japanese bank as usual.

Moving to Australia in the next few months. Will continue to work for the same company and they only want to pay into my Japanese bank account.

Japanese law requires you to be in the country to open and keep an account with a Japanese bank.

Are my only options
1. Continue to use my Japanese bank account until my residence card expires (I’ll hand it to immigration at the airport but keep a photo of it just in case ) and quit the company before it expires.

2. Find a bank in Australia that deals in yen and ask my company to transfer to that bank?

Any other ideas greatly appreciated
