We are headed Japan very soon and I’m so grateful to this subreddit for everything. I knew almost nothing prior to finding it.
This trip is for 40F, 40M, 13F, 11F. Please let me know if any day is not logical. I am trying to hit the spots but still leave room for magic and rest. If there’s anything I’m missing that could be easily added, please let me know!
March 21 Thursday: arrive 6:30am in Tokyo from Vietnam, take skyliner (tickets pre purchased):
-Go to Ueno hotel to leave bags.
-Ueno park- Tokyo museum, cherry blossoms
-Nezu red tori gates (walk?)
-Ameyoko Shopping Street/food
Nap or early bed depending on how we are feeling
March 22 Friday:
-Sensoji area arrive early morning to beat crowds (get fortune for 100y)
-Nakamise shopping/snacks.
2PM Sky tree RESERVATION
– Kura Asuska Rox Sushi
– hoppy street while kids rest at hotel
-Ahkibara to check out video games, recommendation for kid friendly spots?
March 23 Saturday: Train to Kamakura:
-street train to Hase station to walk to Great Buddha & Hasedera
– Daibutsu Hiking Course
-Hokokuji Temple for tea and Bamboo grove walk
7pm reservation at steakhouse Suzuki
March 24 Sunday:
-Meiji jinju shrine
-Harajuka
-Giants ball game 2pm (tickets bought)
-Tokyo dome rollercoaster for fun if not too busy?
March 25 Monday;
-Teamlabs 9:30 am, tickets purchased
-Shibuya crossing
-Nintendo store
-Starbucks reserve
-sleep at Disneyland Hotel
March 26 Tuesday:
DisneySea day for mom and girls
Dad: golf?
March 27 Wednesday:
Disneyland morning, leave park on 2:55 limo bus, Arrive at airport by 4pm, fly out at 6:50pm.
