Me (34), my wife (35) and our daughter (15 months old) are going to Japan from April 4-24
**Our current itinerary is:**
* Tokyo April 5-11
* Kyoto April 11-16
* Osaka April 16-21
* Tokyo April 22-24
We’re pretty experienced travellers and we wanna go at a slow pace BUT we do *love* a good beach so we’re thinking of adding Okinawa:
**Itinerary with Okinawa:**
* Tokyo April 5-11
* Kyoto April 11-14
* Osaka April 14-17
* Okinawa April 17-22
* Tokyo April 22-24
**Pros**:
* We *love* the beach and exploring so Okinawa might feel like a vacation within travelling.
* Okinawa is a destination I’ve kinda always wanted to go to.
**Cons**:
* I know the weather in late April will be low-mid 20s in Okinawa so maybe not ideal beach weather,
* packing up our daughter and all of our stuff for another flight/hotel might be a hassle
* additional expense (not the biggest con, but should be noted)
* additional research (also not a big deal, but worth noting)

What do y’all think? Should we try to add Okinawa?

I was also thinking about the hassles of you having to deal with another flight with your daughter. Otherwise, Okinawa and Ishigaki are beautiful and have their distinct culture.
Weather wise, late April is fine. Chilly to swim in early April. Mid-April is ok. but late April is better
