Itinerary Check Please – 28 Days with a 3 year old. Favorite streets in Tokyo/Kyoto? Any Must-do’s I’ve missed?

* Hi all,

Thanks for all of your great tips and advice on this sub so far. It’s helped tremendously.

We’re heading to Japan for the first time May 16th until June 12th and can’t wait! 2 early 30s and a well traveled 3 year old. I do want to mention that our toddler does incredibly well with long days and travelling. She climbs mountains with us in NZ and has been on plenty of holidays for months at a time. We will obviously consider all advice given and appreciate everyone’s input here.

We’re well trained in calling it quits when we have to due to weather, running out of time or being worn out etc.

We’ve mostly selected hotels with breakfast included as we found this to be much easier when travelling with a child but any recommendations on breakfasts out will be much appreciated. Other meal times we aren’t too concerned with and will mostly rely on whatever we find at the time.

Apologies for any spelling mistakes.
