My wife and I are planning a trip to Japan to celebrate our respective 40th birthdays, and we’ll be meeting up with a group of friends who will be travelling to join us from cities around the world. None of us are from Japan, although my wife lived there for a time and is relatively fluent in Japanese.
We wanted to meet up in Kyoto for a large lunch or dinner. There will be around 20 of us in total. Can anyone recommend a restaurant in Kyoto or the surrounding area that could be suitable for such an event?
