Hello everyone,
our 10+ year old microwave oven broke (oven function not working), so we’re in the market for a new one. I would like to ask people’s opinions on choosing a model and timing for a purchase.
I’m completely outdated as I see these little ovens changed a lot, with things like infrared sensors and superheated steam, and it might be worth to invest on getting a higher-end, 30L model.
I read past discussions here and I see a lot of people are very happy with Toshiba Ishigama Dome and the Panasonic Bistro, so I’m leaning towards those.
It seems both are capable for baking things like bread. Toshiba advertises higher temperature while Panasonic cooking 2 different dishes at once, having a separate steam exit for each shelf. I’m not sure if higher temperature is needed/desirable for such a small appliance, while cooking multiple dishes sounds handy, but I couldn’t really know in practice without using it.
* Do you have any recommendation between the two (or other brand/model?)
* Is it a good time to buy an oven? Should we wait a few weeks for campaigns/discounts that might be starting on April?
