I’m helping family get internet at new manshon but I have no experience with this. The system here is a lot more complicated than in the states. There’s Flet’s Hikari and some other provider I’m contracting with or something like that. Plus construction setup fees, phone support fees (seriously 500 yen a month just in case they need to talk to someone if their service is down?!) cash back systems. Just wow.
What’s your best advice if I want the regular 1gb flet’s for mashon without overpaying?
I’m restricted to Hikari Flet’s and was told to go here and sign up, but there’s also Flet’s Hikari Collab partners.

I looked into it a bit and the partners are services like GMO Toku Toku BB, etc
What is the point of all of this?
Should I sign up directly with NTT, or are there some advantages to going with a collab partner?
