Hello Everyone,
I’m new to this group and I’m preparing to stay in Kyoto for 6 months starting in late April. May I ask for your recommendations of affordable apartments. Preferably less than 20 mins walk to a station, has bicycle parking, pleasant neighborhood, near convenience store(s)/grocery, and not a hassle to get to the city center proper of Kyoto.

For your priorities, look to the northeast, north of Sanjo or Marutamachi, east of Teramachi or Karasuma-Doori. Nearer to Hyakumanben Crossing is probably the best for what you want.
Expect to pay about 100,000 yen per month all in.
