As the title suggests, my credit card is not being accepted on the SmartEX website – is anyone else encountering this? I am trying to register/create a profile so I can buy an early morning shinkanesen ticket from Tokyo to Osaka on March 21st, but I keep getting an error saying that they cannot process my card. It is a Canadian Visa. Has anyone dealt with this, and do you know if there is a workaround or another option? I know you can book through Klook, but I was hoping to select my seat so we can sit in seat E and get the view of Mt Fuji. This doesn’t seem to be an option with Klook – it looks like they just pick any random seat for you. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
