Itinerary Review please? We are leaving to Japan 3 weeks from now and keen to hear your thoughts on our itinerary, we are a family of 4 adults (mom, sister, wife and myself). We are particularly unsure about what else to do on Day 21 and Day 23 other than shopping in Shibuya 🙂
Day 1
\- Arriving in Haneda 9pm -> Take Limousine bus and stay in Shinjuku -> Possibly have a late supper at Ichiran Ramen
Day 2
\- Spend the morning visiting shrines around Asakusa (e.g. Sensoji, Kaminarimon, Shitamachi, Matsuchiyama Shoden, Asakusa Shrine) -> Spend afternoon around Ginza (shopping) -> Sky Tree Tokyo Solamachi – shopping arcade
Day 3 – Entire Day in Gotemba
Day 4 – Morning (Teamlab Planets) Afternoon: Family to Shibuya & Miyashita Park
\- Me: (solo) to Gundam Factory Yokohama, then Dinner at Shinjuku – Sukiyaki Matsugoro and Check out Godzilla Head at Shinjuku
Day 5 Me and Wife: DisneySea | Mom & sis: Shopping at Shibuya
Day 6 Last day in Tokyo – JR train to Kyoto -> Nishiki Market Kyoto
Day 7 Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizudera – Renting Kimono
Day 8 Morning Bamboo Forest Arashiyama (hire Rickshaw) & Tenryu-ji Temple & Kameyama Koen Park, then Kinkaku-ji Temple
Day 9 Morning (Fushimi Inari Taisha ) -> Afternoon Visit Uji
Day 10: Last day in Kyoto – head to Osaka and visit Himeji Castle and if possible, Kuromon Ichiba Market Osaka
Day 11: Trip to Nara then Visit Shinsaibashi
Day 12: Me and Wife: Universal Studio
Day 13: Family leave Japan. Me and Wife continue staying in Osaka
Day 14: Morning Leave to Nagoya and Explore the city – visit the famous Takoyaki Twin Sisters
Day 15: Ghibli Park from morning till evening, then leave Nagoya towards Hakata
Day 16: Explore Fukuoka City
Day 17: Go to Nagasaki and visit Huis Ten Bosch, stay overnight in Huis Ten Bosch
Day 18: Heading to Beppu and explore, then overnight in Oita
Day 19: Go to Yufuin and explore
Day 20: Back to Tokyo
Day 21: Free Day
Day 22: Mount Fuji Day Tour by Bus
Day 23: Free Day
Day 24: Leave Tokyo
