Working in Japanese as a chef

I’ve been thinking about moving to Japan for work. I’m currently working in a Japanese restaurant in London. My dream goal is to have my own business/ place. But I’m at my learning stage atm and I think working in Japan would open my eyes to maybe new things. I’m aware that the working environment is a lot different to the UK but I believe I would learn a lot there culinary wise and just life in general. I would only want to work there for a year or so. Where do I start in terms of paperwork, visas, renting?
