Hello!
Are there any neighborhoods with a similar vibe as Ikebukoro that is cheaper? By that I mean a neighborhood that isn’t overly busy, but also is not residential. I might have my memories crossed, but I remember Ikebukoro having shops readily lined up, but the streets weren’t packed. I don’t drink, so I’m not really into the whole night life vibe of Shibuya/Shinjuku. Some activities I was interested in picking up would be like Kyudo (I shoot recurve), so if anyone has any recommendations for that as well I’d appreciate it!
My workplace would be in Minato, but I’ll be fully remote for the most part. I’m fine with being relatively far from there, though I would prefer a neighborhood that would only be one train line away in case that ever changes.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
