Itinerary check – Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Takayama, Kanazawa (11 days)

Hi everyone, my wife and I (mid 30s) will be traveling to Japan for the first time in about a month. We value experiences, vibes, good food (and especially a great cocktail), and are particularly interested in live events / shows. We know we’re going at a high tourist time, and crowds are unavoidable. With that said, for the sake of our sanity, we’re planning on hitting most major temples/attractions either early in the morning (7am) or at night.

I would love any feedback as to how doable this is, recommendations for swapping “this for that”, or anything else. Thank you so much.

Sending luggage from Tokyo > Kyoto, carrying from Kyoto > Osaka, sending from Osaka > Kanazawa (packing a day bag for Takayama).
