I had a conversation with my hubby and a real estate agent while hunting for a new spot. A conversation came up about kids and when they should have their own room.
I said that about a year, maybe nine months, would be the right time to allow a baby to sleep in their own room/nursery… but then I was met with shock by everyone in the car. Apparently, that’s not the thing to do in Japan? Kids are supposed to sleep with the parents till they hit pre-school at around 3 years old?
I am confusion. I thought baby monitor, cameras, and the whole nursey set up was okay — now I might be expected to be in the same room as my baby till they’re 3.
