Itinerary Check 13 nights in Japan (September 26-October 9)

I (33F) and my husband (35M) will be traveling to Japan for the first time this coming fall (VERY excited). We will be leaving our kids with my folks who have kindly offered to watch them. This will be our big outing after having our second child (due this June).I wanted to run an itinerary check for advice/ additional ideas. For the itinerary I was originally just going to do a day trip from Kyoto to Osaka while I was staying in Kyoto but then I thought it may be better to actually spend a night or two in Osaka. Thank you in advance for any advice!

September 26 (Wednesday) – Tokyo – arrive at 3 PM, Haneda Airport- check into hotel in Shinjuku neighborhood-Dinner somewhere

September 27 (Thursday) – Tokyo

* Tsukiji Outer Market
* \-Samurai ninja museum tokyo

September 28 (Saturday) – Day Trip to Mt. Fuji-

* Mt. Fuji and Hakone Bus tour

September 29 (Sunday) – Tokyo-

* Walk around somewhere??
* \-Shibuya Food Tour (late afternoon)
* Shibuya Sky?

September 30 (Monday) – Tokyo

* Visit Sumo Museum 
* TeamLab borderless (torn on whether to actually do this)
* fancy sushi omakase night somewhere

October 1 (Tuesday) – Tokyo

* Visit Imperial Palace and Explore East Gardens
* 1:00 Sake Tasting with Sommelier

October 2 (Wednesday) – Kyoto

* Check out of hotel in Shinkjuku neighborhood
* Head to Kyoto and Check into Hotel
* Onsen day?
* Something else?

October 3 (Thursday) – Kyoto 

* Arashiyama
* Something else?

October 4 (Friday) – Kyoto

* guided 3 hour tour of Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kennin-ji Temple, Yasaka Shrine
* Nishiki Market

October 5 (Saturday) – Day Trip to Hiroshima & Miyajima

* torn on whether to DIY or do guided tour

October 6 (Sunday) – Osaka-

* Check into hotel somewhere in Osaka
* explore Osaka Castle and Nishinomaru Gardens
* Onsen 
* Anniversary Dinner somewhere

October 7 (Monday) – Osaka

* Attempt to go to Suntory Yamakazi Distillery (if we get tickets)
* Backup visit another Distillery?
* Something else?

October 8 (Wednesday) – Tokyo 

* trip back to Tokyo and check into hotel in Ginza neighborhood 
* Last night in Japan

October 9 (Thursday)- Depart from Haneda Airport – 10AM flight
