Hello all, I am planning an early/mid July trip to Japan with my family. We are flying in to Tokyo and want to spend a week or so on a cooler climate. I’m thinking North of Tokyo, like Yamagata or Zao (Miyagi Prefecture).
I know summers are very hot and humid, but that’s the time we have available. Any suggestions for cooler summer spots are welcome. Thanks in advance!
