It’s interesting to me that in the two G1’s since SANADA made it to the final, he has not been able to get enough points to even be alive on the last day. He wasn’t in contention last year and it wasn’t treated as a big deal that he went straight from finalist to middle of the pack, and this year he was again overlooked entirely. And yet, he is somehow still gradually rising on the card…kind of? I don’t know why I’m pondering this as I have absolutely no interest in he himself, just the completely tetchy booking surrounding him.
Isn’t Jonah eliminated? At best he gets to 8 points, which Okada tops with a draw or victory. But if Archer wins they could both potentially have eight but Archer has the win over Jonah
