Hi all, I’ll be doing Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kanazawa, Shirakawago, Takayama, Magome & Tsumago. I’ve read that bear meat is available in Shirakawago and maybe in and around Takayama as well, does anyone know of places that for sure offer it?
Similarly, if anyone can recommend restaurants in any of the above places that offer interesting, traditional (non-typical to a westerner) food like bear, whale, horse, offal, etc. that would be great!
