Hey, near the end of our itinerary, I’ve put in 2 nights in Osaka. We’d be coming from 5 nights in Kyoto, so just wondering where the most convenient place to stay in Osaka is.
After Osaka, we’re going back to Tokyo for one night before catching our flight home to London the next day from Haneda.
My plan is to use the luggage forwarding service from Kyoto to send it all either to the hotel back in Tokyo, (or Haneda airport if that’s possible. Does anyone know?) and just take a backpack with essentials for the 2 nights in Osaka. Does this sound okay?
Would it be best to stay around osaka station? I’d like to stay in the dotonbori area but logistically might not work.
Any general tips for what to do in Osaka would be great.
