Hi, I’m currently in Japan and my mom still had old 10000 yen bank notes (has Yukichi Fuzawa but no hologram) that she gave me to use. Didn’t realize that it would be an issue until I tried to pay at a bar that used a bill checker and it wouldn’t work
I googled a little and saw that they might be worth more than 10k yen because they’re old. Also, showed one tour guide and he also told me to save them because they’re valuable. Does anyone know what they might be worth or should I just take them to the bank to change out?
