I came across a screenshot from one of my favorite anime, Nichijou, and had to immediately think back to EVIL’s betrayal of Naito after the New Japan Cup 2020. Yuuko’s expression is what I think Naito’s was, even though we didn’t see it.
One of the greatest turns in NJPW history. If EVIL hadn’t been saddled with the initial incredibly lame House of Torture stuff (he seems to have finally turned it around a year and change later) and been allowed to be a badass bruiser heel he’d have been one of their most phenomenal acts in years.
