Basically, if I have permanent residency, is there a way for my mom (American) to come and live with me here?
Edit: people asked for more details which is fair.
She’s 65, can barely walk, lives alone right now, no spouse, I’m an only child, she also has other health issues including respiratory, heart, knee and back, and some others.
I, am 26 pretty healthy, I’m going to be getting married to a Japanese person, we are planning on having kids. Don’t know if that helps or affects things. I feel like it might because I know the Japanese government is struggling with not having enough young people so the thought of them just simply loosing an entire family because they won’t let my mom live with us seems absurd to me. But I’m not a government official.
