Working for my family company. Is my idea possible?

So I plan to work for my family company in my home country as a freelance (I’m also owner of it by now) and I want to make it as simple as possible for the tax calculations.
My idea is just working for the company and make an invoice (if necessary, I still don’t understand how it works 100% because I saw something about over 1,000,000 income being necessary but otherwise not) for my part of the income and get paid from them. The income is in dollars but every month I will receive my monthly income and I can do an easy currency exchange to avoid calculating every time I do a transaction if there is any currency gains/loss.
Of course my salary would change month to month depending on the dollar /yen conversion but at least not in every transaction if I’m keeping my home country bank account with dollars. My idea also is to use wise for the transfer because I found the currency exchange to be very convenient.
Is that ok? Having a spreadsheet with every transaction I do it’s not something I really want to do and this way it’s going to be just 1 per month.
Also my family company can have 1 or more customers, but in my case my customer will only be my family company so I’m not sure if I can be considered as a freelance or not as I’ll only have one.
